The RUK Area (Rekawa, Ussangoda & Kalametiya) is located between Tangalle and Ambalantota in the deep south of Sri Lanka, a 5˝ hour drive from Colombo. The drive is through picturesque coastal areas with much touristic significance. From the Colombo International Airport it is a drive of 6 hours or less than an hour by chartered helicopter (arranged with advanced notice).
